Cut and pasted from the desription: " English Answer: To tell the truth, these are not "the German-style" helmets, but the old German Stahlhelms 1918. 10th Brigade used them during the Polish Campaign. Poles chose them, because the Polish helmet type 31 was judged as unusable for motorized formations.
English Remark: I've seen this old German Stahlhelm 1918 at my german grandfathers home. The story above sounds funny and a little bit uncredible! see another picture from 1939. " First, there's the place for discussions. Second, these are Poles, 10th Cavalry Brigade, training camp Dęba-Rozalin, 1938, period.
