The plant shown is Eupomatia bennettii (note yellow and red flowers). The illustration was published as Eupomatia laurina in 1855, before E. bennettii (F. Muell. 1858) was recognized as a separate species. I have corrected the description. It would make sense to rename the file as well, but this could break links, so I will wait for comments before formally proposing it.

The illustration was published by Hooker as editor of Curtis's Botanical Magazine. It is marked W. Fitch del. et lth., indcating that the artist was Walter Hood Fitch (1817-1892). I have not changed the Author field. EupoMan (talk) 09:25, 6 January 2011 (UTC)
