File talk:GM - Countries by Internet Users 2007.png
This is a highly misleading image, as the shadings imply that one is more likely to be an internet user if one is Chinese than if one is Australian. In fact, the darker shading for China represents the fact that there are a larger number of internet users in China than in Australia, a result, of course, of the fact that there are fifty times as many people in China than in Australia. Either the shadings should represent relative number of internet users per head of population, or the map should be redrawn schematically, with the size of each country being proportional to the number of internet users in each country.
