The solid shown in the 'equilateral' image on the left is not convex, so it is not a Goldberg polyhedron. The faces are not planar, so it is also not a polyhedron.
I created via numerical optimisation a new version which does have planar faces and equal edge lengths.
and also uploaded the 3d model.
It is closer to spherical than the existing figure, but the vertices do not lie on a common sphere, and the faces are not tangent to one.
