edit

there is a transparent border along the top and left sides. they should be removed. Great Mercian (talk) 19:53, 11 November 2022 (UTC) (@Shyamal: )Reply

@Great Mercian: - hopefully fixed. Shyamal L. 05:02, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Shyamal: unfortunately it's still there Great Mercian (talk) 13:22, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Great Mercian: I have made the flag "bleed" beyond the page boundary, I do not think any gap should exist now at least. Shyamal L. 13:37, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Shyamal: https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/2d/Greek_flag_%28black_cross%29.svg slight white border, might be easily fixed in paint but I'm worried i'd turn it from an .svg to a .png Great Mercian (talk) 13:42, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Great Mercian: , it really is impossible as the flag vector diagram is actually made to extend beyond the "document" boundary on all four sides. If you are seeing something in the bitmap version - it could be a problem in the SVG to PNG renderer. But I hope you can recheck, purge your cache of course, and check if there is something with the way you are looking at the image. Shyamal L. 13:46, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Shyamal: I barely understood half of that Great Mercian (talk) 14:00, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Great Mercian: - perhaps you should demonstrate where (or how) you see the white or transparent outline... Shyamal L. 14:03, 12 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@Shyamal:

White border on the top and left sides

No white border on right and bottom sides

I think you should make a solid black patch ( https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Solid_black.svg ) and view in the same way to see if it is added by the renderer. Note that you are seeing the SVG in the browser, not the rendered PNG images - for example - https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2d/Greek_flag_%28black_cross%29.svg/2560px-Greek_flag_%28black_cross%29.svg.png - also your browser may be showing a cached image, open a private tab to open the same link. @Shyamal: I just gave you screenshot evidence, what more could you want? It's like you want to avoid fixing the image. Great Mercian (talk) 10:57, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Sometimes, evidence needs to be re-examined carefully. I uploaded the png version to https://www.dcode.fr/image-pixel-reader and examined pixel (0,0) ie the top left and the RGB values are 44, 90, 160. Shyamal L. 12:35, 13 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
Can confirm pixel 0,0 is the value you specified, sorry for any anger but I swear something is still off about this flag, not sure what it is though. Great Mercian (talk) 18:09, 16 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
