Organized by the District Governor of Hemşin, the competition titled “Searching for the Logo of the District Governorship of Hemşin” has been completed.
More than 90 works participated in the competition with an award of 2 thousand TL, which was announced as the deadline of 30 November 2011 and announced through various communication tools, especially on the District Governor's website.
At the project coordination meeting held on 1 December 2011 and attended by District Governor Hakan Balsüzen, five works made it to the finals as a result of the pre-selection.
At the final meeting held on December 2, after long negotiations, a decision was made on the human figure playing the overalls.
The work of the designer Şaban Ali Aslışen, which received a total of 97 points as a result of the voting, will be used as the official logo of the Hemşin District Governorate from now on.
Explaining his views on the subject, District Governor Balsuzen thanked all the participants for their efforts, stating that there were many admirable works among the logos they evaluated, but they tried to choose the work that would best represent the Hemşin District Governorate.
District Governor Balsuzen said, “I was happy when my friends said that over ninety works were sent to the competition. It means that our people are sensitive to such activities and are really willing to produce something. Because the prize we put can be considered symbolic. We expected the event to be a participation for the spiritual pleasure rather than the material side, and it did. I am happy to have signed a permanent work on the last day of my duty in Hemşin, where I worked for a short time. Good luck to Hemşin." said.
On the other hand, Balsuzen, who was temporarily carrying out this duty due to the fact that Hemşin District Governor Faruk Erdem was in the military, completed his six-month duty in Hemşin.
