The caption to this picture is incorrect. Hull had his meeting with Kurusu and Nomura on 17 November 1941, two weeks before the Pearl Harbor attack, not "moments before" as this caption alleges.

The copyright status is also incorrect. This is a UPI image which is therefore still under copyright in the United States. However, it can probably be justified at low resolution under Fair Use since it is a historically unique image and Wikipedia is an educational nonprofit site.
