majority/minority

Is this only intended to represent majority languages? Because there are dozens of language families not represented on this map, and I think it's almost (if not completely) useless to show a map of languages that only lists majority languages.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.3.202.120 (talk • contribs)

Why is Altaic included in this?

Why is there the "Caucasian language family"?

There are three Caucasian language families and all three are primary language families, they are not mutually related linguistically, they're "close" only geographically, there's no way they should be considered one family. en:Languages_of_the_Caucasus -- 11:47, 13 April 2016‎ 93.136.82.5

They're typologically similar languages without known remoter relatives spoken in close geographical proximity over a relatively limited area. In the case of a world map, such shortcuts are not uncommon when dealing with cases of that type... AnonMoos (talk) 00:16, 16 April 2016 (UTC)
