This file is invalid according to the W3C SVG validator. This file was probably saved in Inkscape in the Inkscape SVG format, when it should have been saved in the plain SVG format. Resave this file in the plain SVG format and upload it. --Siddharth Patil (talk) 16:52, 3 January 2009 (UTC)

Paths on this file are very bad

I downloaded this SVG and imported the paths into GIMP - but a lot of the paths only have one state border and the remainder just a wavy, vague line. There were many paths, one for each state (and lots and lots of other paths too) but no path for a state accurately represented its entire border - at most one segment of the border.
