Wouldn't the Swedish pronounciation of stub be [stʉːb] rather than "[stɵb]"? // JiPe (81.235.131.157 23:30, 16 January 2009 (UTC))Reply

The word "stub" doesn't exist in common Swedish, only on Wikimedia projects. When speaking with other wikipedians, I have only ever heard it being pronounced with a short u, which is natural given its English pronounciation.
Sometimes, it's instead called "stubbe" (tree stump); "stub" and "stubbe" share the plural form "stubbar". However, all templates are called "stub". Caesar (talk) 15:32, 17 January 2009 (UTC)Reply
Why not "stɵbːɛ"? It seems more natural. — 88.83.62.147 06:44, 30 May 2014 (UTC)Reply
