This image became the logo of the United Methodist Church or one of its predecessors in 1968. It's unclear if it is or ever was under copyright protection. See w:Wikipedia:Non-free content review/Archive 7#File:TEC arms.PNG - related problem with File:UMC cross.PNG for discussion.
