- Stimmt, laut dem Artikel Luftbrückendenkmal steht das Denkmal auf der Rhein-Main Air Base nahe Frankfurt. Ich hab die Bildbeschreibungsseite auf Commons mal entsprechend ergänzt. --Kam Solusar 17:38, 29. Okt. 2008 (CET)
luftbruecken denkmal in frankfurt edit
i now live in the united staates. but i was born near rhein main in germany. my father worked at rhein main as a german civilian in construction. he was head of the project. from planning to execution. sadly enough he never received the credit for his his work. the head of his department took that from him. but i remember when they had to shut down A5 for several hours to lift the two aircrafts that are sitting to the left and right of the memorial. my dad was in charge of that as well. i wish the goverment would give my father the credit for the hours he had put in to ensure that this memorial came to be.
