Dating the photograph

The source article [1] is very clear that the photograph should be dated between 1865 and 1880. Is there a reason the uploader has proposed different dates? — kashmīrī 13:41, 15 August 2019 (UTC)

Fitzpatrick's forensic investigation into the date of this image (your source) postdates the original source cited by the uploader which has gone dead to me and can't be found in Wayback Machine. SpinningSpark 16:13, 17 August 2019 (UTC)
