Response to personality rights warning

This is a picture of a cricketer taking part in a cricket match open to the public; therefore as I understand, the use of this photo is perfectly fine? Harrias (talk) 07:02, 27 October 2010 (UTC)

Hi, I think you might have misunderstood the intent of the personality rights warning. There is nothing wrong with this image policy-wise on this server. The warning is for those who would like to re-use this image; Max Weller could act on his personality rights if this image was modified to be or used in an outrageous manner that would hurt his image (personality/reputation).

We warn the re-users that just because images of identifiable people are here, free for any sort of use, they are not exempt from possible actions by the subjects if the images were used in a derogatory fashion. Jappalang (talk) 08:54, 27 October 2010 (UTC)
