I doubt that this picture has been taken in 1974. If you compare it to other pictures from the time the difference is obvious. Ian Carrs biography of Miles Davis showes a good example. 1974 was the time of Miles' afro look. The whole dressing code was different during this time - On the Corner style! The picture must be from the period after Miles comeback in the 80s.
