Update maximum ranges edit

Jason Davies's azimuthal equidistant projection

Maximum ranges have been updated, see: https://ichef.bbci.co.uk/news/624/cpsprodpb/26F5/production/_88837990_north_korea_missile_ranges2_map624new.png — Preceding unsigned comment added by Ethanmayersweet (talk • contribs) 06:45, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the note, @Ethanmayersweet: . I'm tempted to replace the base map with Jason Davies's excellent azimuthal equidistant projection as it gives a truer representation of the distances and shows distant countries better. I plan to style it to look similar to the existing one. Do you or anyone else have thoughts on this? cmɢʟeeτaʟκ 16:19, 29 April 2017 (UTC)Reply

This image from this article gives a different list with different ranges. Should these values be added? cmɢʟeeτaʟκ 11:48, 16 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

BBC no longer regard Taepodong as missiles edit

The BBC, the original source for this, no longer regard Taepodong-1 and Taepodong-2 as missiles, as of 2017. They have long been regarded as technology test rockets eventually leading to the Unha space launch vehicle. See here for what the BBC currently regards as NK missiles, based on James Martin Center info. This SVG should be updated. Rwendland (talk) 16:58, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Interesting; thanks, Rwendland. I'd like to hear what other editors have to say about this before updating it. Cheers, cmɢʟeeτaʟκ 19:27, 4 September 2017 (UTC)Reply
