I miss mirrors made from Obsidian. One time in about 2000-2005 I have seen at least two at a collector in Germany, i think Stuttgart. Both circular, convex and highly polished, with diameters of about 15 and 22 cm, with height of convexity of 1 resp. 1,5 cm. The glossy upper surface of the black stone/glass reflects/shows a perfect reduced picture of ones face while held in ones hands - that has been the use of it. Declared to be from ancient Meso- or South America and rare and valuable in these sizes. --Helium4 (talk) 05:21, 8 June 2012 (UTC)
