other trails than the Oregon Trail

Just to note that in the interests of NPOV the trails used by the NWC/HBC should also be shown, in addition to the Oregon Trail. These are that of the Brigade Trail (Ft Okanagan-Ft Thompson-Ft Alexandria, not the later post-1846 one via Spuzzum-Boston Bar) and that of the York Factory Express, up the Columbia and through the Rockies via, I think, Howse Pass (the NWC may have used a different pass than the HBC). Also, I believe, the Siskiyou Trail would qualify on both sides of the POV....Skookum1 (talk) 16:04, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

We've had this discussion before, when I made the map I couldn't find any good sources showing the routes (a written list of places they connect isn't detailed enough for me to base a map on). Looks like Pfly found some for the York Factory Express, so I should be able to add that one based on his map. Kmusser (talk) 16:47, 28 August 2008 (UTC)
