This image shows a magnification of 100x. This is a little misleading as although the ORIGINAL image may be at this magnification the displayed image is not. The arterioles in rabbits are around 8 to 12 µm in diameter (see eg. http://iopscience.iop.org/article/10.1088/0967-3334/25/1/002/meta and https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/3142972) However the image shown here on its file page (800×600 pixels) that displays on my monitor is appx 200mm diameter, so perhaps TWO THOUSAND times larger than implied by its 100x label.
