File talk:Rocky De La Fuente 2016 general election ballot access.svg
New York edit
Why is De La Fuente's access to NY ballot "disputed"? According to NY State Board of Elections website, De La Fuente is going to be on the ballot. There is a new article from Ballot Access News that says De La Fuente is now going to be on the ballot in New Hampshire. http://ballot-access.org/2016/09/08/new-hampshire-says-rocky-de-la-fuente-has-enough-valid-signatures/
I think New Hampshire and New York should be colored in. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Vincent Labine (talk • contribs) 17:28, 08 September 2016 (UTC)
- Late response: New York accepted De La Fuente's filing, then rejected. He did successfully file as a write-in for NY. Bcharles (talk) 15:19, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
Lawsuits edit
In AL, TX, and VA, De La Fuente was denied injunctions to place him on the ballot before the lawsuits are resolved; but these ballot access cases remains active. They will likely be decided long after the election, and could have important effects on ballot access for future independent candidates. A vertical stripe pattern is defined in the file to indicate states that still have a ballot access case pending and where De La Fuente has filed as a write-in candidate.
