What kind of shawms?

Are these typical medieval European shawms, or are these some kind of modern folk/traditional instrument from some European country? The top part (reed and the wooden part around the reed) doesn't look normal for medieval shawms. 24.93.170.200 10:06, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
