According to information from the Archive of the History of Medicine at the University of Zurich [PSf_gf Sauerbruch 08 a] the photograph used by the N.Z.Z. was taken circa 1917 by Jakob Wyrsch (1892-1980), then student of medicine at the University of Zurich. So it's very likely not public domain and should be deleted.--Universitätsarchiv Zürich (talk) 15:38, 21 August 2019 (UTC)
