Interprétation douteuse

edit

HB (talk) 09:29, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please, translate in english, I cannot do it - Thanks - HB (talk) 09:29, 11 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Incorrect attribution

edit

I don't know what to do about this, but this image is NOT from Otto Van Veen's 1607 emblem book.

It is a poor copy, reversed, of the image in the 1607 edition. This also isn't from Gomberville's pirated editions (in 1646 and 1648) nor is it from the first English translation by Gibbs in 1721. This can be confirmed by inspecting the corresponding documents in archive.org.

Can the person who uploaded this correct the identification of the source? — Preceding unsigned comment added by ZoneAlarm5 (talk • contribs) 04:21, 28 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
