I much prefer the version that was originally uploaded (and brought back by David Benbennick. Even though the photo is probably darker than it really was out there, the original version looked like the kind of thing that (in my opinion) should be a picture of the day. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, blog) 03:37, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply

I actually like User:NGerda's version too. I uploaded it to Image:123520main 1735-lg.jpg. I've asked NGerda to provide more information about the photo. dbenbenn | talk 14:58, 28 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Actually, NGerda's version is the original one found at NASA. The one that we prefer seems to be a cropped, darkened version based on it. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, blog) 00:19, 29 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Nope. This image is from [1] at NASA. Image:123520main 1735-lg.jpg is a different photograph from NASA, taken from a different angle. dbenbenn | talk 00:53, 29 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
Right, by "original," I meant "the one that Ngerda originally linked to in the description." – Minh Nguyễn (talk, blog) 00:20, 30 July 2005 (UTC)Reply
