Not a sukkah

By definition, this is not a sukkah, more a symbolic representation of a sukkah. A sukkah is supposed to be outside. Chajm (talk) 06:01, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

@Chajm: This is Congregation Emanu-El's sukkah. As they put it "Temple Emanu-El brings the spirit of Sukkot indoors with the creation of our beautiful sukkah...". Perhaps not archetypal/traditional, but if it's good enough for them I see no reason not to call it such here. — Rhododendrites ^talk |  14:11, 25 October 2022 (UTC)

If this picture is to illustrate what a sukkah is, then the picture should show one. Here, the viewer would get the idea that a sukkah is a souped-up chuppah. A sukkah is a sukkah when you can see the sky through the roof. 2003:CB:E700:737B:753C:F4F6:BC97:121 21:05, 13 April 2023 (UTC)
