Reverts

edit

Please stop reverting the edits to the image. The cropping makes it more encyclopedic. No need for anything else. Hmwith 05:56, 18 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The picture should just be of the gesture. No need for the face to be in it. I tried to crop it, but it was reverted twice by a user from another language Wiki... for a reason unknown to me. Does anyone else agree that it should show the gesture only, as this image is POV, suggesting that it's given for sullen reasons (which is rare), as opposed to being very angry or in another different situation? Opinions? hmwithtalk 05:14, 6 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Completely agree, no need to have a face, or a watch as big as a fucking cockoo clock. We just need a decent picture of the hand alone. No show-offs please. Hopefully acceptable username 20:37, 15 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

Discussion

edit

Just a question: Why has this discussion been held at en:? I'm afraid I'm not the only one who has been reverting without discussing (at least here, in Commons, where the image is hosted). Regards. --Dodo 21:28, 19 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The discussion is being held here, and that's why I moved those comments here. Also, if you look in the commons page for the finger, you are the only one who is reverting it to the main image, with no discussion. I started discussion on the English page for my first revert, and at the Commons while performing the second revert, both explaining what I was doing and why I was doing it. You were reverting without explanation, and you said nothing until asked. Even now, when you were asked, you didn't back up why you were doing it, so I will assume that you agree with this, and it shall stay. Thanks, Hmwith 22:23, 22 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
Read your own words: you reverted here and later "started discussion on the English page". Are we supposed to track image discussions at every proyect? :-( --Dodo 08:45, 24 June 2007 (UTC)Reply
