There is (maybe?) something wrong with the map around the north of the Caspian Sea.

It seems to me not logic that the Caspian Sea was even bigger in an ice age than today.

I would expect the same size like today, because it has no natural connection to other mares in contrast to the Black Sea or the Mediterranean.

Otherwise I would like to have an explanation for this phenomenon.

Glacial water from the north? — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.114.202.121 (talk) 16:48, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

Is this the map you used to draw the map?

Wow, a connection between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea, but no connection to the Mediterranean. Even not in the "other direction", with water flowing out from the Black Sea to the Mediterranean.

I think I have to go deeper into this. Let's see what I can find. — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 94.114.202.121 (talk) 17:19, 2 June 2018 (UTC)Reply
