His son Carlo Brogi (1850-1925) carried on his business after his death, selling both his and his father's pictures under the trade mark "Edizioni Brogi Firenze". Some of the pictures with a catalogue number higher than 8000 can be dated to events happened later than 1881, therefore they should be given to Carlo rather than Giacomo Brogi.
