Great Zimbabwe

Great Zimbabwe is the name given to the remains of stone, sometimes referred to as the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, of an ancient Southern African city, located at [show location on an interactive map] 20°16′S, 30°54′E in present-day Zimbabwe which was once the centre of a vast empire known as the Empire of Great Zimbabwe (also called Monomotapa, Mwene Mutapa Empire or the Munhumutapa Empire).
