La Merced Cloister
La Merced Cloister is all that is left of a colonial period monastery complex in the historic center of Mexico City. It has been called one of Mexico City's most beautiful monasteries because of its mix of Baroque and Moorish architectural elements. The rest of the monastery complex, including the church was destroyed after the en:Reform War.
