Lothian Buses: Morningside Maisie

English: The Morningside Maisie route branding scheme worn by buses operated by Lothian Buses. A stand-alone scheme, it was created for the previously unbranded route 5. It was introduced in 2011 on 10 new buses of the 11-registered B9TL / Gemini 2 batch (951-960), using a Classic livery base. Two more buses (399/400) from the same batch were also subsequently branded. It uses exactly the same design as the historical series (but with one less route point). The scheme references the cartoon cat 'Maise the Cat', highlighting the work of a local author, Aileen Paterson, and the area of Morningside, Edinburgh's literary quarter.
