Lothian Buses: Penicuik CityLink

English: The Penicuik CityLink route branding scheme worn by buses operated by Lothian Buses. A stand-alone scheme, it was used for the previously unbranded routes 37/47/X47, which serve Penicuik. It was introduced in Winter 2006/7 on 25 new buses of the 56-registered B7TL / Gemini 1 batch (801-825), using a Harlequin livery base. It was the same as the B7TL based designs in the playing card series, using blue as the roof colour. Additionally, the standard colours on the skirt were reversed, i.e. becoming a red skirt with madder relief line. For the name/symbol it simply used "PENICUIK CITY LINK" in multi-colour; the three i's joined as a vertical bar. In the transition to Classic livery, during Spring/Summer 2011 the branding for routes 37/47/X47 was replaced by The Pen-Y-Cog scheme of the historical series on the same buses (except No. 801, which received standard Classic livery).
