Under contract with Léa Lacroix I have prepared this improved version of the Neuchâtel fossil cast Lua module: https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=Module:Neuchâtel_fossil_cast/sandbox&oldid=875188124 (changes). List of improvements include:

• Changing certain field labels in English and French
• Moving author and date of description next to each other
• Retrieve taxon information from the taxon item instead of the specimen item

Harej, Some of the Neuchâtel files showed up in Category:Pages with script errors after the last change. Can you look into it? --Jarekt (talk) 03:26, 16 May 2024 (UTC)

@Harej and Lea Lacroix (WMDE): , I tracked down the issues causing lua errors in files like File:Cottaldia benettiae FOS 2247 - 1.jpg there was some bug in the new function "get_taxon_info". I noticed that the whole function was redundant to the old "scientific_name" function fetching the same properties from the same wikidata items, so I expanded the old function and nuked the new buggy one. Please see Module:Neuchâtel fossil cast/sandbox for changes and Module talk:Neuchâtel fossil cast/sandbox/testcases for the results which should be identical to the previous version, except to files that have wikidata properties which were causing errors. --Jarekt (talk) 04:27, 20 May 2024 (UTC)
