Nólsoyar Páll

Faroese national hero: sailor, boat-building innovator, free-trade advocate, poet

Poul Poulsen Nolsøe, called Nólsoyar Páll (1766-1809) from Nólsoy, Faroe Islands is the National hero of the Faroes. He was seaman, boat constructer, farmer and poet.
