Postcard

English: A postcard or post card is a typically rectangular piece of thick paper or thin cardboard intended for writing and mailing without an envelope and at a lower rate than a letter. It requires postal franking, contrary to postal cards. One side often displays a photography or artwork.
Français : Une carte postale est une morceau de papier épais ou de carton fin, généralement rectangulaire, destiné à être écrit au verso et posté sans enveloppe. Elle nécessite un affranchissement postal à un tarif inférieur à celui d'une lettre, contrairement à l'entier postal préaffranchi. Le recto représente souvent une photographie ou une œuvre d'art.
