Ringridning Tilting contest is one of the largest and most colourful tilting contests in Europe can be experienced in July every year in Sønderborg, Åbenrå and in another towns in Sønderjylland. The actual attraction, the tilting competition, takes place on Friday and Sunday. The tilting festival in its present form has existed in more than 100 years. Every year is about 500 riders in Sønderborg and Åbenrå – men, woman, young and old -participate in the tournament.
