Sandavágur
settlement on Vágar, Faroe Islands
Sandavágur is a town on the island Vágar in the Faroe Islands. A 13th century runestone bears an inscription stating that the Norwegian Viking Torkil Onundarson from Rogaland was the first settler in this area. In 2010 Sandavági has a population on c. 825 people.
