English: The 'Slag om Grolle' (Battle for Grol) is the reenactment of the Siege of Groenlo in 1627, an event that is being held every few years in Groenlo, the Netherlands. Hundreds of reenactors battle on the outskirts of the city Groenlo (formerly known as 'Grol'). The Dutch forces took Grol in 1627 from the Spaniards, after besieging the town for a month.
