Language information

Additional foreign language descriptions may be added to this category to help broader audiences better experience this topic.

The most common foreign language in New York City is Spanish so this is the highest priority language. However there are other languages spoken in the city (this goes without saying).

Those of the highest priority are indicated by the New York City Department of Education, which maintains websites in the following languages other than English and Spanish: Arabic, Bengali, Mandarin Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, and Urdu.

The school district at one time had published documents in Hindi, Italian, and Vietnamese. WhisperToMe (talk) 00:17, 7 September 2014 (UTC)Reply
