The Collective work template creates a warning message on page images from collective works such as newspapers, magazines, encyclopedias or anthologies that may include non-free content.

The template automatically sets the following categories: Collective works or Collective works of [Country]

Usage

{{Collective work |country= }}

The template should be included if any of the contributions in the page image, including text and images, may be non-free. This includes text or images where the author is not identified.
For a newspaper, {{Newspaper}} gives a more specific message.
If you are sure that all the content is free, e.g. because all the authors are known to have died more than 70 years ago, use the {{PD-collective-work}} template instead.
