This is an enhanced version of Template:PD-US-not renewed to show how long ago authors died. Depending on the deathyear given, it chooses {{PD-old-80-1964}}, {{PD-old-100-1964}} etc. If the date given is less than 50 years ago, {{PD-US-not renewed}} is applied.
The template automatically sets the following categories: Category:PD Old auto: no death date if required "deathyear" is missing
