Template:Ross-image

This image is a movie star postcard published by Ross Verlag in Berlin. This tag does not indicate the copyright status of the attached work. A normal copyright tag is still required. See Commons:Licensing for more information. In particular, Ross images are in the public domain in Germany only if it can be shown that the photographer (usually mentioned on the image itself) has died more than 70 years ago. Ross images that are in the public domain in Germany may still be copyrighted in the United States if they were first published later than 1928 and were still copyrighted in Germany on January 1, 1996 (i.e. if the photographer died in 1926 or later).

Usage: {{Ross-image|id|nr}}

For am image number "248/1", use id=248 and nr=1. The tag automatically tries to determine (based on the id) when the image was published. For the post-1936 series starting with "A" this doesn't work, the template doesn't show any year for these ids.
