This is a simplified version of {{Superseded}} that works for any file, not just images.

Usage

Template parameters

Parameter	Description		Default	Status
`1`	File name of the better file, with or without the "File:" prefix		empty	required

The template is intended to be used in the following namespaces: the File namespace

The template is intended to be used by the following user groups: all users

Example

{{Superseded2|BetterFile.jpg}} produces:

This file has been superseded by BetterFile.jpg. It is recommended to use the other file. Please note that deleting superseded images requires consent.
