The actual code is hidden but it looks like: <span class="Unicode">{{{1}}}</span>

This template allows easy switching to Unicode fonts for pages that require Unicode to display correctly. On some browsers, such as IE6, Unicode does not seem to be activated automatically, so this template lets you force it manually. (class="Unicode" is defined in MediaWiki:Common.css.)

Examples: {{unicode|&#x22CA;}} and {{unicode|&#x22C9;}} give ⋊ (instead of ⋊) and ⋉ (instead of ⋉).
