The use of this template should be explained somehow. Where should it be placed, when and by whom? What and how exactly should by inserted into [[{{{1}}}]]? -- Túrelio 08:03, 12 March 2007 (UTC)

See Commons:Message_templates#Vandalism... 1 should be substituted with a ref to the page (or image), and the page is intended (I think...) to be placed on pages that have no redeeming value except for making an attack on someone or something. Place if if you noticed the page and are concerned... I think I made this one up (I forget) but it was due to a request on Commons:Message_templates's todolist. Hope that helps! Please remove it or request that it be removed

That line seems quite pointless to me. Apart from the fact that, hopefully, the perpetrator isn't an admin and cannot remove the page, why ask to add a deletion request? Shouldn't whoever warns the user already have put a {{Speedydelete}} on the page? And, secondly, can an (in most cases) anonymous user be expected to know how to request deletion? I would certainly prefer something like It has been, or will soon be, deleted. --rimshot^talk 14:03, 12 July 2007 (UTC)

In my opinion all messages must have a little confusing talk as possible: the fewer words used to communicate, the better. Your suggestion sounds like an improvement to me. Cheers! Siebrand 19:08, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
