Rename to "Template:Comment"

edit

Should this be moved to Template:Comment? It's confusing when the actual word is different to the name - unlike on most polling templates. --Lumijaguaari (моє обговорення) 03:08, 9 February 2006 (UTC)Reply

Yes I completely agree with that. (Fred-Chess) 11:01, 29 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
Did I write the above? Yes, I think I did. / Fred Chess 14:35, 19 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Translation in Vietnamese

edit

Would an administrator please add a way for languages to override this message? In Vietnamese, MediaWiki:Filehist-comment/vi would properly be Miêu tả (literally "description"), but this template should say Bình luận. Bình luận would make little sense on the file history table. – Minh Nguyễn (talk, contribs) 06:06, 24 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • Problem: Hello, at the moment the difference between {{Info}} and {{Comment}} is quite small, see:    and
So in Commons a kind of "colour language" has established itself where it has common for the users, that icons of exclamation marks are usually yellow or red (see for example Template:Mbox#Examples)
  • (=) -   Neutral
  • (/) -   Abstain
  • (x) -   No proposal
  • (i) -   Info
  • (!) -   Comment
  • /!\ -   Warning
Done in Special:Diff/738306781. A SVG version was already available, so I used that. If you think the PNG version would be better, please let me know so. --TKsdik8900 (talk) 07:11, 6 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
