The colon immediately after the template is the problem in that case; it is interpreted as wikitext indenting code. Example:

 Info Some text.

 Info – Some text.

The root problem is that editors are putting block content inside the |1= (unnamed) parameter, which is probably a misuse of this template. Jonesey95 (talk) 16:01, 21 July 2023 (UTC)

Reverted to old version, which will result in Linter errors and bad formatting returning to pages. The root problem of people putting block content into |1= needs to be fixed on an individual use basis, it appears. People are misusing this polling template; it needs to be split to another template or modified to meet the needs of the people who want to use it for something else.
