How does this work? --Slomox (talk) 03:25, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply

If you add the css to your monobook, the little icon will appear. Clicking that will delete the page (well, you'll get as far as the edit summary). If anyone uses this, we could make it truly automatic (no pause to confirm the edit summary). Rocket000 (talk) 13:06, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
Ah, okay. I think, I now understand ;-) So for example when a license template is discovered to be faulty, you can add {{nuke|invalid license}} to that template and then go through all images tagged with that license and one-click delete them. Is that right? --Slomox (talk) 13:55, 3 April 2009 (UTC)Reply
You made me try this out myself. :) Check out how it's used in {{Move}}. After the page has been moved you can easily delete the old page by clicking the icon. It's already built into the template so you don't need to do anything beforehand, besides having the css, of course. It's kinda like a generalized form of the link on {{Duplicate}} (see the "Delete" link in step 3). Pretty useful because of the auto edit summary, although it isn't one-click because you need to confirm it. We could make it one-click but that might be scary. Return to "Nuke" page.
