English: Paintings by Andrea Mantegna in the Uffizi Gallery.
The Ascension, 1462, the Adoration of the Magi and the Circumcision, were commissioned by Ludovico Gonzaga in the 1460s for the Chapel of the Castle of St. George in Mantua together with Death of the Virgin now in the Museo del Prado. The three paintings were acquired by the Medici 1588 and brought together into a Triptych in the Uffizi 1827.
