| English Wiki Loves Monuments is an annual global photographic competition to share historic and cultural monuments all over the world via (mainly Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons). Wiki Loves Monuments 2020 in Mauritania is the local preliminary round for the global competition. Every photographer can participate by sending his/her pictures and help promote Mauritanian cultural heritage to the world. During the month of November, Mauritanian photographers are invited to upload as many photos as possible of monuments their cameras have visited. At the end of that month the jury will select the 10 pictures qualifying for the international competition.

Mauritania have many cultures and many monuments that need to be shown to the world, and because via internet there is not enough pictures of our country, participating in this international competition is a great way to promote our heritage.

In November, you may upload as many pictures (old or new) as you want from the given monuments list that you have visited.
